Owwww!

This is what happens when you try to avoid yardwork. Abuse by by racing brothers!

So far this year:

- We're averaging 25 entrants per race this year (I didn't factor DNS and DSQ into this)
- The entire field is typically spaced by a total of maybe 5 seconds
- Number of totaled cars: zero
- 3 of 5 classes will be decided in the last weekend
- We got to race at night at a world-class "Roval" - a taste of 24 Hour American LeMans-style racing that I'd say few of us get

All this among good friends in an environment where class competitors are often seen helping each other work on their cars, exchanging ideas on the track, sharing tools, and more. This is a formula that seems to just plain work, and explains why Scott and I are often reluctant to change things in major ways.

We're pretty lucky over here. Scott and I have often discussed how one day years down the road, we'll look at this year as a highlight - or perhaps *the* highlight - of our racing days.

Stay tuned - Ohio region has already picked us up. There's little to stop other regions from doing so - have the region director contact Scott and I.
