Default shifter question

I read somewhere that all short shifters are interchangeable between all years of Integras and Civics, is this true? can someone confirm? ..has anyone experimented with a 90-01 integra short shifter on a 91 hatch?

since you can put any year civic or integra motor in and use the stock shidter, seems to make sense that they are pretty much interchangeable

aslong as the bolt size is the same on the bottom of the short shifter it should work

yes, they are interchangeable. I have the same shifter in my 97 civic as in my 89 CRX.

referring to the OEM shifter, where the shifter bolts to the gear change rod, they are different widths. the Integra is wider than the Civic one.
