I have stock b20b block with rs machine 11.8cr type r replicas, have a b16 head with .10 shaved off of it. What would the c/r be? How much more compression can I go up to n still run 93 octane, I've heard 13.0? How much compression does it add when u take .10 shaved off of the head? Thanks for the help guys

 

the best answer you will get on what compression is the highest to run will be from the person tuning your car.

your probably at around 12-12.2 :1 com ratio.

you have a long way to go before you hit 13:1 with those pistons.
with whatever head and cams you slap on that you can still run 93 because of the comp ratio. as long as you have a good tuner.. any **** tune/tuner can blow anything up.

 

Thanks that's what I was thinking it was, I have it together already runnin on basemap from phearable with b16 head. Just ready to bump it up n port/polish the head wit some skunk2 pro2's, get the comp r up as high as possible with 93 octane
