Default Installing Y8 head on Y7 engine whats CR

Need a little help here please.
I have a D16Y7 engine with bad head, and a good D16Y8 head. I'm wanting to use the Y8 head because it was free and more power.
Will I have too much compression for everyday driving and cheap gas?
Thanks,

You'll be ok, both motors were designed to be ran on cheap gas

I hope so.
My son's 95 hatch D15B7 blew up and he drives it 80 miles a day to work and back. I bought this D16Y7 engine from junk yard out of a roll over 97 and the valve cover and dist end cam journal was broken off, but engine was good, for 80.00.
I had a D16Y8 engine given to me with broken crank, so the cheapest thing to do is put Y8 head on Y7 engine.
I already have extra vtec ecu out of Z6.
I just don't him to have compression problems driving so far daily.
Thanks
