im trying to talk my brother into giving my his b16 out of his wrecked em1 si. i need to know what i will need to do to convert it to obd1. i have a wiring harness from an eg civic with vtec so i wont have to run the wires for vtec, but do i need to swap over the sensors and stuff on the motor? i curently have a b18a in the car half taken apart so can i use the sensors from that motor to run the b16. i also have a non-working obd1 b16 ecu that i was going to send out to be fixed. what do i need to buy/aquire for this swap? should i just run his obd2 ecu ut of his car and buy a conversion harness

 

Run the obd2b motor on an obd1 ecu. Keep the engine harness that is in the vehicle already & modify the necessary plugs for the obd2 distributor, injectors & alternator etc.
