I'm at my Uncles shop right now trying to order the correct starter for my car through a parts distribution company and weve got the wrong one 3 times in a row.. Hopefully you guys can help with figuring out which one to order

I have a '94 Civic with a 1991 JDM B16, OBD0. From what I know the transmission is origional to the engine, but bought the car like this so I have no idea. The starter I just bought was for an integra, 1.6l DOHC, I figured this would be similar enough, apparently the integra used a different bolt pattern.

Any Idea how to figure out which starter to order?

check out hmotors. Try calling them to see what they've got. According to their site, it looks like they have a ton of random starters laying around, and probably know which one's correct for you.

Try ordering one for a '90 Integra 5 speed.

 

90-93 integra's have same brackets as jdm b16's, common issue and they have always used da alts without problems.
