Is this a good deal??
I been looking for a 99 or 2000 civic si for about a month now. Finally found one that is good condition with low mileage and clear title. This Seller want 8000 firm. I really want this car but should I spend that much on it?? Sorry no pictures. Its stock with only short ram aem intake. Car is driven sundays only. Mileage is about 45000. I try to lower the price but he no that the cars is rare and he wont drop a dime. Let me know what you guys think? Thanks.
Pics would be nice but I think it might be just a tad high for me anyway. I mean if this car is in really really good shape with no dings and perfect paint I would pay 8 for it.
the seller is on vacation now so he cant provide pictures until this upcoming weekend. He said that there is only one ding on the door. I saw pictures of the engine bay its mint and well taken care of. I think 8 is a little high since usually I see this car for sale for 5 to 7 g's. But they mostly beat up. Once I see the pictures then I will decide. Thanks for your input. Let see what the others think. It will make my decision alot easier.
no, it is not. 8k on an si is nuts. in the past 2 months, ive seen 3 go under 5k. mileage was obviously over 45k, but at that price you could afford 3k in motor work/swap. i wouldnt buy it.
yea its kind of a toss up. obviously test drive and inspect it.
i still wouldn't pay 8k for a 10 year old car just the way it is. according to kbb in excellent condition is 7500. so i guess 8k isn't that bad.

This is so hard for me lol. I just check the kbb and its price for 7500 in excellent. Its only 500 dollars more. I was going to say yes it is a little pricey but for a rare car with low mileage?!? Should be a deal right?!?
its ridiculous. b16's arent too crazy of engines. you're telling me that your si is worth 4k more than a gsr swapped ek? nope. its an si, theyre not a big deal. theyre not that rare, either... were not talking about mint itr's here, its a fuggin CIVIC si. IMO 8k is RIDICULOUS for a stock civic si.
8 grand for the car sounds decent if it's in good shape. and with only 45K on the car i'm sure it's been taken care of.
It's pretty high and I would be worried of the low miles on the car. Many people have swapped clusters to not let their miles go up, then sell the car with low miles.
I bought my MINT si for 6000 with a freshly overhauled engine, new bearings/piston rings/water pump/oil pump/cam seals, you name it, THE WORKS. All the new parts had 1000 miles on them when I bought it. Not to mention a fresh paint job done at the same time as the overhaul. ALSO a new set of Drag DR-17s and Khumo Ecstas all brand new! SOOOOOOOOOOOO personally I would say its a ripoff.

i think its a decent price to be honest. especially with the miles and having clean title.

Civic Si and rare do not belong in the same sentence together.
The car is worth what you want it to be worth. KBB may only say $4500, but if you want it bad enough you will pay $8000 for it.
