Liberty Transmissions has one for a B-series. NRG Tech from NY is working on one.

There's another company I know of that is working on one as well, but no formal release date or name to release yet.

Liberty is the only one that will actually ship you one, the other guy will give you a different story every other week.. Granted, you will have to do some grinding on the Liberty, but it beats not having anything at all..

I like the craftsmanship on the liberty unit, yes there is some massaging that is needed but its not too bad.

Heard this from 1 million people. Liberty's customer service has came and gone over the years, but they've always been there for the most part supporting us when noone else would.

the only place i had to grind on the liberty is where the flywheel teeth were hitting, not where the diff sits in.

What diff were you using? I have had to make clearance for Quaife, Wavetrac, and even OEM units.. It was designed to fit a spool, and those fit fine.. When my next Liberty case gets here, I'll probably ****m it and take some pics to post and send to Liberty..

I had to clearance the differential area of my Liberty for the Quaife, but mine is an old one. Either way, it takes 5 minutes, no biggie.

So do i have to go directly through liberty or can someone point me in the right direction? lol Im thinking of using my stock gearset with a quaife for now just to get used to the car at the track and the eventually putting a ppg or liberty gearset in it.anyone think that's a bad idea? Also has any one had any success with the ppg sets in stock cases??I have heard rumors that people are still cracking cases with the ppg sets.

The factory case will still break eventually with the PPG gears and brace, but my stock case lasted over 40 passes with the PPG and only 3-5 with the Liberty. So the brace definitely makes a difference, but it's not bulletproof.

I bought a Liberty bellhousing about a month ago. It showed up in LESS then a week. I had to shave it down for the pressure plate bolts, slave cyl., and the clutch fork (just to be safe). I didnt have to grind anything for the Quiafe.
It is a massive peice of Billet. I could not beleave how heavy it was and how nicely it is made.

Just curious. If you have an idea. I've never had one in my hands before. Whats the approximate weight?

Thanks for all the input guys.im not trying to start any conflicts/bashing here just want to know whats been working for everybody.i know the ppg gearset is probably the best gearset out there but if i get the billet housing and the liberty gearset and get about the same durability as the ppg gearset then that will save me a few bucks.what do you guys think?

It seems like a great piece. Does any one know how well of a combination this case is with stock gears? like 700 to 800 hp. Does it help prolong the use of stock gears??????

Someone has a whole liberty setup fs in this forum. It's gearset, extra 4th and a billet housing abd cuff for $6800 I think.

Are you guys trimming the bell housing while trying to mount it to the motor as far as the clutch goes? How do you tell what it's hitting, kinda hard to see inside of a bellhousing while trying to mount it I would imagine. Just currious.
