Default Removing turbo kit off D16A

Alright guys, so I am going to be taking the turbo kit off of my del sol so I can pass inspection in this wonderful state I live in. The emissions failed by a mile so I am going to need to bring it back to stock and then take it to inspection. If I am forgetting anything let me know but as of right now I am looking to do the following:

- Remove Exhaust Manifold / DP and Turbo and put stock headers on
- Replace Oil Pan with the stock untapped pan
- Remove all oil feed / return lines
- Remove intercooler / charge pipes and put stock intake on
- Replace 450 injectors with stock
- Remove the chip from the ECU as well as the jumper

The only thing I have a question about is the injectors. Right now with there is a red module the bluetops are wired to thats on the firewall...if i was to pull the injectors out and put the stock injectors back in do I have to bypass the module somehow? Or will they be fine if I leave that box in place and don't change any of the wiring?

You should find a guy, who knows a guy who has stickers, and happens to sell them.

dont take the pan completely off, buy a plug if it has a fitting welded. as far as injectors go you have a resistor box wired in. now is the resister box plugged into the harness or is it hard wired into the injectors? ether way you need to remove it before you put oem injectors in.

dont have to take the resistor box out. just put in obd0 injectors instead of obd1 injectors and you'll be fine.

also, like stated, plug the oil pan instead of removing it. and no need to take off the intercooler n piping either, just let it all on and put your stock intake on. no need to create all the extra work for no reason if you're just going to put it all back on again.

ooor, like the other guys are saying, just find someone who will do a lick n stick and be on your way without changing anything

Thanks for all the help guys. Lick & Sticks are great - unless however you work for the police and don't really have the option of putting a BS inspection sticker on your car seeing as everyone I work with would know and give me tons of s*** for it. Trust me - I have considered that route over and over again lol.
