i swapped my eg hatch with a obd1 jdm gsr about 2 weeks ago. everything was running fine. today it was idling fine right around 800 but then i got in the car to leave a friends house and it idles at 1500 and drops to 800 it just keeps fluctuating even when warmed up. ill try cleaning my iacv tommorrow but is there any other causes for this> i know ill probably get flamed for not searching. i searched a bit but didnt really find anything but to clean the iacv. any help would be appreciated

 

It could be anything... Vaccum leak, map sensor,throttle body open/close loop...

 

x2 check fitv located under the Tb. there's a thread on here on how to tighten it back up.
