Well, i suppose im back into the honda scene.

I Sold my 94 hatch went through a few other cars, Ended up with a nice 88 samurai. Just sold it, bought a Ek Coupe 98 With a bad crank and rod ( 3 weeks ago )

Just finished building it. Runs good, got some minor tweaking to do still. Will post pictures soon


Basic Mods i did while i was in there

All race bearings ( main and rod )
Stage 3 6 Puck Clutch with 8.5 Flywheel.
Carbonized Synros ( i didnt do this part, Tranny shop did it )
460 HP Axles
Ported Head
Re-geared oil pump for better flow.
Ran turbo feed lines and catch cans with intercooler ( im waiting to install turbo untill i can find a tuner. the only one close to my closed down 6 months ago )

Working on it. Battery on camera is completly dead, Charging it now.


Pulling off intercooler tonight, I feel dumb with it being on and not hooked up. Feel like a fake. So iama pull it off but leave mounting bracket so it'll be easy to install later

how much power are you planning on making with the d16?

 

Not much power, I'll probbly only run 4-6 Psi on this motor, I plan on swapping. I Havnt made a decision. Ive always like the g23 Build but i dont know yet.

I plan on running 20-30 Psi on my next motor 400-500 WHP But that will take time and money Probbly be done with that in like 6-12 months or so.

If you notice the trip Odo thats the Milage on the rebuild. I havnt even taken it on the highway yet.


I personally dont really like the projectors, But idk yet.

 

What's up with the gauge cluster needles?

 

Whoever had it before i guess painted it. I dont know. Not my doing. Ive got a Parts cluster im going to pull the needles off of, But thats not on my to-do list yet. Ive got some other things ive got to handle first. Like getting it legal.

 

Bought a new CAI cars running better but ive got a few misc problems.

IACV Sensor and IAT Sensor codes, Weird i didnt have these before rebuild but idk.

 

I like the sammi, I would love one of them, best 4x4 ever built.

 

I like it. I have a milano red coupe with fat fives as well.

 

is it possible you reversed the connectors? they are both 2 pin connectors and identical looking. not sure if the wiring would even reach to allow this kind of screw up but just thought i'd throw it out there.
