Default Newbie from Scotland attempting Mini-Me and needing help!

Hey folks.

Stan here from Scotland, needing a bit of help with my EJ6 1997 Civic Coupe.

It currently has a D16Y7, but i have a JDM D15B sitting here with a shot bottom end.

I have ECU and loom from the D15B.

I going to attempt a mini-me swap, but just have a couple questions....

Which ECU will i use? (Will the P08 JDM D15B ECU work? - And will it plug in and at least run?)

I gather my EJ6 will be OBDII (as it is a 1997), is this correct?

Any more help would be greatly appriciated

you will need an obd1-obd2a jumper harness to run that ecu. found at pherable.net or rywire.com. you need to use the stock harness for that car because 96-00 civic have 1 piece harness were as obd1 civic use 2 piece. good luck

unless you swap intake manifolds you are going to have to wire up the 2 wire IACV as the Y7 has a 3 wire. Also you'll be going from a 4 wire O2 to a 1 wire O2. The easiest thing would be just use the exhaust manifold from your Y7 as well and you won't need to wire anything for the O2.
