Default B16 Build what cam?

Hi everyone, I have a question for you what is your recomendation on cam choice? and also whats the largest cam I can use with out replacing the LMA's? My build list is....

B16a2 block with PR3 pistons (hastings rings)
Bottom end is ballanced with ACL bearings (all Green)
Mugen pan
Toda Flywheel

ported PR3-3 head
Supertech springs max lift 14mm and retainers
Type R intake valves
PR3 or P30 ported intake mani for testing
Type R TB
Toda header with 2.5 exhaust
Tuned with Neptune

The engine will be strictly for road racing

Thank you!

If it's a road race build, I'd tak to buddyclub.

I'VE HEARD (not sure about this information) that their spec 6 cam, is actually a cam for a 1.6L.

CHeck also the japanese manufacturers, they build parts for road race engines, not a 12s shooter.

either way, the Blox B's would be good cams, I have them, and like them

The Pro 1's are what i was thinking of doing, my biggest question is can I run Pro 1's on stock PR3-3 LMA's?

You be fine running Pro 1 as long as you run the appropriate valve springs and retainers

Im running pro2s on my original LMAs with no issues at all

Supertech has two types of valve springs, so you have to know which one to pick. I'd go Pro Series valve springs if you're going with the Pro1s.

Pro1 or Tuner Stage 2 cams will do.

I've got Pro 1's in my CRX I use to instruct at DE events. Lumpy idle, but seem to make power to 9k rpms. Using stock lma's I do believe.

Thanks boys! I just picked up a brand new set of Pro 1's for 450! I know that Supertech has two times the 14mm lift ones and the 15mm should I just go with the 14mm?
