Setup is 01 h22a4 motor in a 98 Civic Action 2md clutch. While shifting gears the car wont move even tried reverse and still no movement. Also while parking I put the car in gear and now I notice the car moving and not stopping while in gear. Is it the trans or clutch? PLease help!!

 

I don't really understand your description. Do you have an automatic transmission?

 

Its a manual transmission.

 

to test the clutch if its slipping start the car push in the clutch put it in gear and have the ebrake up slowy press the gas and let off the clutch all the way slowy if the car stalls without any problems clutch is good if it takes awhile to stall then clutch it is.
another test for the trans have the car off shift the gears into 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and reverse if it shifts fine its not the trans wouthout pressing the clutch pedal.
