h22 acting up help

Default h22 acting up help

I have a h22 swapped civic. It bugs at 5 grand, Like it seems like fuel cuts out but the motor is stock so i dont see why. Any ideas to why its doing this?

Which ECU? I'd check the "Why Doesn't My VTEC Engage" thread.

Also, check oil level/pressure.

its the stock ecu out of an 96 prelude. I never had a problem with vtec. Like a couple of days ago the car started acting up and would just stall out like it wasnt getting fuel or something. The only way it will stay on is if i constantly give it gas. But it stoped turning off after i changed the fuel pump know its bugs at 5 grand and tends to studer when cruzing at a steady speed.

It doesn't bug, it bogs.
