okay i know this is not the spot for questions and concerns, but here is my situation:

So this guy is selling me his car
Registraion and Plates are from California
But the pinkslip is from another state, he hasnt transfered the pink to Cali.

Does anyone know how much it costs to transfer a tittle to Cali from another state, and
is it a hard and long process??

How can you have plates with registration from cali without a cali pink...this seems fishy, what year is the car, and does this car have a lean on it, you might want to go to the DMV with a copy of the registration, and have them take a look.

 

 

It's probably easier if you visit or call the DMV...

 

Yea Ask the saller for the license plate and get the DMV number from the back of your registration and ask if it's a clean title and all the info

 

If its registered in cali it has to have owner in cali.
