Will A top Mount Manifold and a S372 Fit in My DA
Hello,
I am looking at getting a Full Race Top Mount Manifold and a S372 turbo for my Car. I have a 1991 Acura Integra with a LS vtec built and ready to go. I am worried that I am going to have some clearance issues with the upper and lower cross members.
Can you guys show some pictures or let me know if this can be done. I was looking for the Full race Twin Scroll bottom mount that was made some time ago now that was developed to run large turbos even in a CRX. I checked there site and cannot find the manifold any longer.

Time to cut the hood for that compressor cover and topmount, and do some custom body work. It is more than likely it will NOT fit inside that bay even with cutting the the "ribs" in the hood.
da's are tight and with that big of a turbo and a top mount consider it not fitting without openign up the hood liek stated above
I would hate to run a Log style Manifold for this Turbo but Im set on getting the S 372 Ill look areound to see what else is compatable but can fit a top mount for me any sugestions
I never thought That turbo with a top mount would touch the Hood. Once mounted does the Turbo not sit about flush or a bit below the Valve cover. Most pictures look that way when on a B series motor.

is this a built drag car or just a personal use car cause quite honestly thats alot of turbo for a street car and to be so worried abotu running it. is it just a wow factor or you are going to race this thing? I dont knwo the setup but with that turbo i hope you've got one heck of a driveline in the car tranny and axles lol
The motor is built but will be a street/race car I just don't want to buy a turbo max out and buy another it's a waste of money however I just did some reading and the s366 sounds good to me plus Slowboy90 is running a top mount with a S366 and fitment was good probably go that route. Slowboy is running A sls top mount with it I wonder if a full race would work?
You're at a point to purchase, find out, and be ready to fab if necessary. Ask Slowboy 90 which company he used. I would not be surprised if it was custom fabbed. We're not saying it won't work, we're saying that there may be more involved than anything "bolt up".
I also like the Precision 67 billet series for that power, and can make similar power in a standard T04S cover

Thanks for your feedback according to slowboy he is running a normal sls to mount as you said it's a tight fit in the DA integras but I think the positioning with the sls top mount is a bit different then thefull race turbo is basically less then a inch from the head when using the s366 I will most likely call sls or full race and tell them what I will be running to be safe
thats what i did i called the guys over at SLS and we spoke he was 100% sure they had personally cleared a s362 so i figured it would be close and they cut me a deal as well. but quality of the manifold is top knotch
i just re read your post if your worried about the lower crossmember i dont think you so run a top mount lol because you will need a traction bar setup or a aftermarket crossmember to clear the downpipe needed for a large frame turbo
Slowboy thanks for your feedback just to be clear I'm less concerned with the lower crossmember as I will be purchasing an after market one I was concerned with hood clearance and fit ment from the head to the upper crossmember that the headlight bolts to I will call sls I want to run there twin scroll dual gate set up but a top mount us a too mount if the could make yours fit they can run the similar design for the twin scroll thanks the pictures would help if you can find some lol
I had a Boostwers DA top mount that I had to return because it wasn't compatible with any other chassis. I bought it brand-new second hand from a DA owner to use in my EK. Bryson was nice enough to give me partial credit on the return (even though I didn't buy it from him) and probably still has it.

Sweet Looks like a Sick Manifold especially if it was mocked up in a DA. I wish it her a Twin Scroll though I believe the S366 is a divided housing so not sure how effective it will be. I have e mailed him to ask about pricing anyways. Thanks Allot Bro!
Well the size of the compressor cover is a bit larger than the Holset. A divided housing will still be fine, but won't increase speed of pressurization faster than a T3 flange, if that's what your goal is.
I also have sls topmount with S362 with backdoor FMIC, mani and turbo fit fine, But still had Fab. dual 38 gates for creep issues and snake dumptubes under it all, i have pics if ur in need, otherwise its all custom not like turbo kit u buy and bolt together in DA., and fitting 372 NOWAy lol, had friends turbo and test fitted it in my mani, hits head and hood, unless you build a mani just for it,
i sent you pics man of my set up lemme know if i need to send them again, btw i also run a back door IC i fabbed it up but its still back door
