how do i get my aris piston off my eagle rods

Default how do i get my aris piston off my eagle rods

ok i'm stumped. How the hell do i get there clips that hold the pistons on the rods off

It's kinda a pain un the *** the first few times... use a pick and find the end pray up and turn it at the same time.

i tryed prying for hours. They seem to just spin. I think i'm starting to damage the piston. There has got to be some other kind of way to get these off.

anyone?

Use a standard/flat screw driver to stop the pin from spinning, while you use a pic to pop the pin off.

Lol there is no trick its just a plain ring lock, if its spinning you obviously have to stick something else in there to stop it from spinning while you pry the ring lock out, they are pressed in there by hand.....
