Icon2 d15b2 turbo

does anyone know of any turbo setup's that i can run in cali. that are street legal for this engine i heared some ebay turbos are. please help

i don't live in Cali, but i've heard that all parts have to be CAFE approved with numbers. also has to pass smog. unless you buy brand name stuff on ebay, it probably won't be certified

Greddy kits are CARB legal, but they are expensive.

ya i know greddy is way to much i just want to run 8 or 9 psi or less then that just want to give it a little more power for little while only because i plan on going k series next year

then why dont you just save the money for the kswap instead of wasteing it on a turbo for a motor that your going to junk soon

you should just throw in that zc sohc motor your trying to sell and go turbo with that...!!!

that stupid if you wanna make turbo your b2 cause that engine is junk why not swap it to a sohc zc, you can use most of the parts

i have decided just to mpfi the engine i have now save my cash and hopefully have my k swap by the mid or start of next year

ya I know I hope to be working as a spanish court interpreter so I should be okay with cash but im thinking I might just be going b series not sure which way to go but if I go b series i'll go b16a2 turbo but im not sure yet anyone know which is better for daily driving i know turbo is fun though hearing that blow off valve its just like damn undecided though any feed back would be helpful

LS VTEC or LS Turbo. Or a B20/gsr. Or just build a Boosted B16. I've seen them suckers do 10,000 RPM
just sayin. K-swap is sexy, but even if you're putting down 400HP its still to the front wheels, and your not going anywhere, sept back to the tire shop. get that thing low and smooth. Handling is very important and often over looked when doing a swap that's gonna at least double your HP. with 200-250HP You'll have plenty of fun

ya i have a coilover setup right now its all the way down in the front and needs more on the back but i am going to completely tear up the whole car and rebuild it when i start making my money
