honda oem i'm sure. but how often? how much? is there a DIY?

 

every 30,000 miles. use oem genuine honda manual transmission fluid.(im assuming your car is a 5 speed)

 

i believe it is $7.40 a quart

2 quarts.

 

drain all your fluid. then fill it up. use all 2 quarts

 

thanks man. i've never done it before so i'm not sure how to go about it. any tips?

 

5spd? i pull the vss out, then take off the fill cap, then using a funnel and a tube i fill the trans up through the speed sensor till it starts to drip out of the fill hole. much easyer imo. you can also go through the reverse sensor
