Default Need motor mounts, but which?

instead of jacking ser13's thread, i posted my own.

i'm in the same boat, but need them for my stock d16y8. is it not worth it to buy OEM mounts over Hasport or Innovative? I'm not going to upgrade my motor. It's just on the daily driver. so should I go aftermarket or oem? cost of either?

the car shakes a lot at idle, so i'm guessing it's the mounts.

keep all your mounts stock. you really only need the tranny mount and rear torque to reduce wheel hop

since it's your daily/stock motor, solid engine mount is not worth it cause you will feel the engine vibration inside the car. Look which engine mount side is broken then just bought that side only, or go to car yard/etc will cost you less than Brand New.

You do realize that those aftermarket companies sell mounts other than solid ones?

Both companies off upgraded mounts with different durameters of bushings, even for daily drivers

i wasn't planning on buying a no-name brand from ebay, rather just find the oem set there. it's cheaper than going to the dealership and buying the same exact mounts.

thats interesting. i'm all about comfort and reliability on this car because it's just the daily. i'll look into that.

i'm not looking to spend a whole bunch of money, either. like i said, it's just a daily and isn't driven hard. i'm just trying to gauge opinions. i don't want the oem ones to be significantly worse than anything hasport or innovative has to offer. if that's the case, i'll pay the difference.
