Should i buy this? I know it has bad hail damage but everything else is nice. He said the engine knocks. I plan on doing a swap in this anyway. I can get it for probably less than a grand.

hey guys just joined im in the same situation as you sliced im debating if i should purchase a 93 hatchback its got a b18 and a gsr tranny it needs fenders and a little body work and some work on the interior the engine is only supposed to have about 70,000 miles same with tranny it has si wheels cf hood and bill jdm side markers fog lights it runs good the guy is asking for 2400 what do you guys think is that a good deal its gonna be my first project just lookin for some oppinions from people who know if you guys could send me a message today and let me know if i should purchase or not i would apprciate it if i do purchase i will post piks and let u guys check it out

 

to sliiiiced: well it all depends what u want it for cuz u need to do alot of body work my man, if your gonna do a garage project with it then fine go for it but u shouldnt get if your gonna use it for a DD

HondaGuyJDM: 2400 is kinda high becuz it has fender damage u can get that for 1800 cuz and use the other 6 grand for the damage. either way its not bad cuz it has a b18 swap do u know what B18 is it? LS, GSR?

 

igaly the civic has a 98 itegra ls motor the fender damage is not bad i dont think the car was in a accident they are primered and have dinks on them the engine bay looks straight doesnt look like it fot hit the guy wanted 3200 originally

 

3200? damn' dawg u can get a 2nd gen eclipse GS-T/GSX for 3200. but like u said it need alittle body and interior work 2400 is kinda high bro offer him 2k cuz ur gonna have to put mad money in that car u feel me....if u want it to come out clean cuz some ppl dont care about the body they just care about the motor, but im mad picky body wise idk about u

Yes so it can be done, but the only swap legally is a 2001 B18C/1/5 or B18B1. It's just gonna be a waste of money because of all the B series parts you buy to make it "Running Healthy", you are going to end up spending the same amount of price of a K swap or a good turbo set up.

Hell, you can throw any motor in the car if you have the money.

Be the first to have a J swap in our 7th gen and tell hasport to make mounts for them.
