I'd skip the "club". I've heard that it's easy to get around - people usually just remove the steering wheel or just cut it.

Someone recommended the AutoLock to me. Wraps around the clutch (or brake) so you can't start the car. You can probably find it at your local Target... I think it was about $50.

I'd have to go with the autolock too, i have one on my car, just to have a little big of extra security, it helps me sleep better at night even though if someone had a hacksaw, they could just hide in the car and sit there cutting it, and you can still start the car without the clutch, put it in neutral, and grind into first, then you just slowly drive it away

Get any brand club or autolock. I got brand X for both and use both in addition to the alarm. It does give a a piece of mind.

You'll find all "clubs" built basically the same. The only difference is price and marketing hype. If a pro is going to saw it, he will do it. The idea to deter them to choose another target. If you got something a pro want, he will take it no matter what.

Look at it another way, if they can beat all that's on my car, they deserve it. Go ahead and take it.

How would we know if it was the club that did it? Unless some rookie punk decide to try. If the blinking red light of an alarm cause them to select another car, the it did it's job. The same is true for a club.

I use both the club (locks steering wheel) and autolock (locks clutch or brake) you can get the twin hooks steering wheel lock which they would have to cut 2 places to slip it off instead of just 1 like normal clubs... along w/ an alarm system w/ shock/impact sensors, proximity, and tilt sensors... also have a hood lock, batt back up, multipoint starter kill (on the alarm), multiple kill switches (separate of the alarm), pager, back up and internal/in cabin sirens.... this is in addition to that the car is parked in the garage... I disable remote input for the garage opener at night (put it on "lock" and also deadbolt and lock the garage at night... then theres also the house alarm and armed patrol/response from the house alarm company that we have...

I figure if they want my car THAT bad their going to get it...
