Default Problem with amp sucking power...

sooooo im not the greatest 5-speed driver(im learning lol)

and sometimes i will stall it while my subs are going , and not have enough juice to start up.

i got my car w/ sound installed so i dont really know anything about the setup, or what i should be. but there is a very large gauge wire on the + battery terminal...

I tried searching and found that some people upgrade their alternators/add a second battery, but no one seems to have the same problem i do. also, i think my battery might be a pos...

duralast, its really small compared to most batteries...

Most honda's will have the smaller sized batterys.

A stock charging system is good for about 300 watts rms, so im told.

Have you tried shutting the stereo off when starting it??

Need more info...

MM&Y of car?

Make and model of HU and amp(s).

When you say, " i will stall it while my subs are going , and not have enough juice to start up" what exactly do you mean?

1-Engine will turn over, [crank] but not start?
2-Engine will not turn over or turns over very slowly and will not start?

Either way^^^ how do you get it started when this happens? 94

Get out and push start it. Sounds like you have a weak battery. Change that out for a new one and you should be good to go.
