will an 88 acura integra intermediat shaft work in a zc transmission and a zc motor

d series dont have int shafts do they?

 

dohc zc'z do. the site i read says the shaft you have will work if you cut the top bolt hole off. interesting

 

umm lol i dont uinderstand what your saying man i just wanna get a stock halfshaft to use my low miles zc tranny instead od using a high miles dx tranny I NED A HALFSHAFT AND I HAVE MONEY IN MY HAND

thats a bit ghetto please can anyone else confirm this? that would make things a lot easyer i already had to special order the bolts to use one lol let me know guys

 

im afraid thats your only option if you wanna use a intermediate/half shaft.
i was gonna do the same thing with my zc trans but ended up using my crx si trans.

 

that is not quite right - none of the bolt holes on the 86-89 Integra shaft line up with the holes in the DOHC ZC block - this is the ZC shaft on the left and the 86-89 Integra shaft on the right (which a guy modified to almost fit - still didn't fit like it should - more than a bit ghetto - not much holding it on):

for that kinda hassle i would just run unequal length axles

what about a b series intermediate how does that line up? ive heard rumors of those

 

nope. youre trying to line up a b series shaft on practically a d series with 2 cams.

 

ya fail ha ha anyone know where i could get one anyone still mess with the zc on here is $100 not a good deal or what
