SENSOR WOES. Knock sensor is bad, O2 sensors are messed up--what's the best solution?
I have a '90 CRX with a first gen JDM B16A and the PW0 ecu. I just finished installing a DC 4-2-1 header and ran into a problem with the O2 sensors-
The stock manifold had two O2 sensors on it, but the DC only has a spot for one. For now, I just left one off and taped up the other wire, but I wasn't sure what to do, so I asked the question in here a few days ago and the general concensus was to have two bungs welded into the primaries. Here's the thread-

Coincidentally, the ecu is flashing a code 23, which means the knock sensor is bad too. Now I'm wondering if I should go to all the trouble/expense of having the two bungs welded into the header for the O2 sensors AND buying a new knock sensor?
Maybe I should just get the ecu chipped with a program that disables these sensors?
What do you guys think? Thanks a lot!

I hate knock sensors get rid of them. you can buy a chip off of ebay even that will give you a better fule map and dump the knock.
Yeah, but there are so many different chips. Which one do you suggest? And will the car still pass emmissions if I get the ECU chipped?
