Default Running extremely rich

00 si chassis, 01 b18c N/A fully built

now at completely stock fuel system and 2nd set of injectors

after 30 seconds into a cold start aem wideband reads 10.0 and cat starts to glow.
prior to the 30 seconds into the start. it reads 14.6 14.8.
car will not idle on its own.

Both Stock ecu and obd1 chipped with basemap ecu does the same thing.
Pull the plugs and there black!
Black smoke when running as well.

Fuel press at prime is 40psi, then between 36-38 when running
Ive tried my AEM FPR also and still does the same thing.

Only thing not stock in the fuel system is a AEM rail everything else is stock
motor is 12.61:1 comp. stock bore fully built head no P&P

SK2 intake mani and TB, hondata intake mani gasket

stock ignition

I have searched and havent found anything similar to my problem.

You need a tune. You also need a basemap made for your setup.

I have a basemap already, it does the same thing with my stock EM1 ecu and my basemap obd1 p28.

Motor should not be rich to wear it will not run at all with a stock fuel setup on a high compression built motor right?

It would actually make it lean if it's not feeding enough fuel. What size injectors do you have?

You need a tune, and when you say fully built then it definately needs a tune.

Then either your afr gauge is off or your ecu is messed up. The ecu is what indicates how much fuel is being fed to the motor so I dont know. With that high of compression a tune wouldnt hurt. Either tune it and save the motor or leave it as is and blow the thing up.
