I've had my car sitting for 2.5 years (way too long). anyways. the motor went out on it back then at the same time oil was being thrown out everyone under the hood. I'm pretty sure it was coming from the turbo. (there is oil in turbo pipe going to the intercooler also) At first I thought it was that the turbo was blown to but after thinking about it, I'm not sure if it was due to the motor or turbo. The cylinders have bad cracks in all of them. Every piston has bad cracks/pieces ready to break away (the b20/vtec with boost = toast).
Anyways could I take apart the turbo to check it out. Im rebuilding an ls/vtec now and just don't want to throw on a junk turbo.
I will probably have the turbo replaced/rebuilt. its the 18g greddy. Anyone have any ideas on this.

 

Check intercooler pipes, if theres oil in there its the turbo

 

yea its the turbo. what I thought. may have it rebuilt. anyone have a 18g greddy turbo for sale?
