thermostat issue

are you guys using thermostat in your drag cars yes or no and why!

use a thermostat if your worried drill a couple holes in it

I have ran with a thermostat and without on a couple different cars/setups and had no ill-effects on either, but with all my cars I've always ran the fan with a relay on ignition power

if you do decide to use a thermostat, make sure it's an OEM one, the cheap POS Auto Zone ones are horrible, even if they claim they are fail-safe, they have got stuck shut on a few occasions with 2 different ones for me, after that I ran no thermostat until I put an OEM one in

also Water Wetter is good stuff, use some of that if you want to reduce temps a little bit

i dont run a thermostat either. Car will for track use but ive run my old setup on the street without one and never had a problem
