Remote wire?

Does every deck out there have a remote wire coming out of it? I have an older jvc which doesn't have one... what do i do about it? Wont it just kill my battery??

some dont but u can always use the ignition wire its the red wire

Yes. Whenever the radio gets power, so will anything connected to the remote wire.
