Turbo for 07 Si
Hey i was just looking at different options for turbos i could get for my si. I was thinking about the Turbo Specialties (TSI) K20Z3 Extreme Turbo Kit which seems pretty good and isnt to expensive. I already have exhaust so i would have to get a catalytic converter and would probably get flashpro with it. i was just seeing what people thought of this turbo or if another one would be better.
I'd rather stay N/A than buy that turbo. It's cheap for a reason.
Why would you have to get a cat? I would either leave the stock cat on or take it off entirely. Don't waste your money on a high flow cat if that's what you are talking about.

Full Race Turbo. It's the best bang for the buck. I got a buddy who moved out to Texas with a Full Race Kit. He's putting down a hellashish amount of WHP on stock compression.
AJP has some good turbos, but the customer service is sucking *** right now.
Swift Racing is another good company to go with also.
But as a general consensus, TSI is crap. I have seen first hand the systematic distruction that turbo can cause. go to the other site and troll for a guy named Supa Ninja. Tell him Huggy sent you to ask about the TSI kit. He'll give you all the details.

They had a friend of mine's car for a good chunk of time and kept feeding BS when asked about the progress. It's one thing oveer the phone or net, but in person is different. I guess the rise to fame meant letting the lesser customers slip a bit, but in any event, I'm not taking away frm the craftsmanship of the product. It's just the intrapersonal side that had the hiccup.
