Leaning out.. Need input please
Hey, I have a JDM B18c 98 spec R. When I reach 6000 rpm's like right when vtec kicks in, my car goes dangerously lean. 17.8 air/fuel...
I tried switching injectors, new fuel pump, regulator and add fuel on chrome and still nothing works.
also my fuel system seems to always keep lots of pressure, when i took off the regulator so much gas started spraying out or when I change my fuel pump lots of gas squirted out too...
PLEASE, I NEED HELP SOLVING THIS

Fuel system is suppose to keep "lots of pressure". That is 100% perfectly normal. You need to add fuel to the vtec map and probably alot of it right around the conversion point. Something tells me this is a tuner problem (ie, you didnt spell crome right) and not a physical hardware issue.
I had one, but I fixed it...
I'm sure my tuner added fuel because he showed me the fuel map and he jacked it up all the way, but no change at all.. LOL thanks for the "FYI" but lol my tuner is the best in the city does thousands of honda's, so it would be lil odd for a tuner problem...
I'm going to check my fuel lines an test my wide band o2 sensor with some brake clean and a rag because it actually feels good in Vtec :S, but on the Dyno it says it's lean as well.

Funny how "I add fuel on chrome" becomes the "best tuner in the city". Being that it only occurs around the vtec engagement, I have to believe it is something with the rom. If it was a fuel system problem then you'd just run lean from that point on to redline, not for a split second when vtec engages.
