Default Removing ring gear bolts that has loctite

According to Loctite's website you I can remove the Red threadlocker with heat applied around the bolt before removing it. I dont like the idea of applying heat to a specific area of the ring gear/diff as I dont want to warp the thing. Has anyone experience removing a bolt or nut that had Red Loctite threadlocker in it? They say if I dont use heat, then I risk of ruining the threads out.

I installed the 4.7 ring gear to my brand new Quaife LSD but changed my mind and would like to switch to the stock 4.4 gsr final gear.

you are not suppost to put loctite on those bolts. and if you use loctite on anything you should use medium grade "blue loctite". you should be able to get them out if you heat them up with propane torch not acetelyne torch, and when loosening dont use air gun mount in vise and use a breaker bar or something. gl

I will try that thanks.. If I heat the head of the bolt it shouldn't harm the diff or ring gear correct? I will reinstall with new bolts anyways.
