Hey all, i have a 97 prelude and for the longest time, my doors wont lock....several years ago, i locked my keys in my car and had to call the popo's and they slimm jimmed it, ever since then, when i try to lock the doors by pushing the power switch, the locks turn but they dont lock the doors, i can hear the solinoids popping but the doors dont lock....Help.....

 

have you taken the panels off and made sure all the plastic clips attached to the rods are still intact? they are easily popped off and broken if fishing around with a slimjim..

 

I"ll try that, any one have any pics or more in depth on how to do that?

 

lol its not that hard. Just take off the door panel...
