Default It's crunch time and I need some advise!

I am at a crossroads. I have narrowed my choices to two turbine housings. Either a T3

divided 84 A/R housing or a T4 non-divided 81 A/R housing. I have an inlinepro t4 manifold,

3" full exhaust, stock bore ls/vtec with gsr cams and an AEBS intake manifold. Thanks H-T!

Ummmmm... What turbo? Power goals? Use? Powerwise won't help either way, especially if the turbo is very large.

Its a garrett t3/t4/t67. I will be drag racing with some street use but minimal. I want ot

make all I can on pump and over 500 on race gas. I was hoping that you would help me out

with this shodan! You seem to always have good advise and it's much appreciated!

Manifold kind of dictates you should use a T4 turbo unless you plan on replacing the manifold.

That style inlinepro manifold is dual drilled for both t3 and t4. Also I will be upgrading to a 84mm sleeved bottom end over the winter.

i don't see the point of a divided t3 on a non divided manifold.

Agreed.

Also, an undivided 0.81 T4 is WAY bigger than a divided 0.84 T3.

I don't seem why your choice is between these two as they're very different.

A T67 is on the big side for someone only looking for 500whp on race. A 60-62mm turbo is probably a better choice as you're accepting a lot of unnecessary lag with a T67.

If you are really set on getting the T67 and have a T4 manifold, get an 0.68 T4. If it's a P-trim turbine you might even get away with an 0.58 T4, but it's a mismatch and might be prone to surge.

IMO you want a T61 or something though, really.

I already have the turbo, I'm just looking at changing housings. I suppose I could trade it for

a smaller 62mm but I am hoping when I get my sleeved block finished to shoot for more

power still. Just shooting some ideas out there I guess. Thanks for all the input so far and

please keep it coming!
