im getting a free d16z6 and all associated wiring from a buddy who is parting his delsol out. im putting it in my 94 dx. after all the wiring is done and im back to work im planning on buying a b16 swap. with the wiring work with the b16 swap ? i know i will need to add a knock sensor but other than that will i be good to go as far as wiring is concerned?

u can use the d16 wiring on b16, d16z6 has a knock sensor btw so no need to wire up one, and if b16 is obd1 ur good

 

the Z6 doesn't have a knock sensor so you will have to wire one up

 

so will i have to add a wire from the shock tower to the ecu for the knock sensor for the d16z6 or is the wire already in the cabin harness?

You'll have to wire either directly from the sensor to the ECU (what most people do) or run a wire from the sensor to the shock tower, then from the shock tower to the ECU
