Default f22b2 head/timing help

So I just got a 97 accord special edition and when I got it I was told the timing belt was broke so I start taking t apart and find that the cam shaft had actually snapped in two, and in the process ground one the the bearings in the head so i got a new head and did a head gasket and now it will start for about 5 or six seconds while struggling to stay alive and then shut off. Any Ideal what the problem could be? I've checked the timing and I think its on and the dizzy is pointing to spark plug one on tdc. But I cant figure it out yet just seeing if anyone has ran into this or knows what it might be. Oh and theres no check engine light. Thanks Daniel
