Default Secondary Air Pump Questions

I was inspecting my air pump (in driver's side fender with the vacuum lines going in and out) due to a CEL and was unable to find out where the electrical connection or plug is. There is no place to plug anything in at all, but I read on here that one should check to make sure the electrical plug is in all the way... What gives?

Look harder it's there. It just doesn't pull electricity out of the air.

lol I took the air pump off and couldn't find anything! The air pump is the black sphere-ish thing in the driver's side fender w/ the large vacuum line coming into it and one leaving it correct...

The air pump is in the front bumper on the drivers side, not sure if this is what you mean by driver's side fender. If so then it should have electrical connectors on it.

yup that's what I mean, I guess the connector has completely broken/sheared off because there is no remnant of it....
