Default im being a cheap ***. vtec questions

ok so im going to do a mini me on my d15b7 bottom. i dont wanna spend the extra money for a p28 and convert to obd1.

so im planning on using my apexi vtec controller to run vtec, and use the pm6. now for the distributor im going to make a harness so i can use the plugs from my harness and clip right into the dizzy.

now this is all until i have enough to get the p28 and make a 0bd1 harness.

anyone? thoughts? i feel like this should work.will my motor be in limp mode?

if you are using an obd1 dizzy, which it sounds like that's your plan, then yes.

now if you use the obd0 si dizzy it will work perfectly fine

you need to use your obd0 si dizzy untill you convert everything to obd1.

you cant use a obd1 dizzy on obd0.

you will need to cut the leg on the obd0 dizzy so the time will line up.
the top leg only and it will be the only leg that you would be able to bolt on....

if he is using a z6 yes. if it's a y8, the a6 dizzy will bolt up to all 3 mounting points

I've never tried it but the internals from each distributor could probably be swapped...
