Default del sol brake lights are stuck on...

my uncles del sol brake lights are stuck on. Since the brake switch is 50 bucks is there a quick way to test this. i'll have some time to pull the fuse box and check the switch in a few days. any help would be great.
i believe its a 1994 del sol d16z6

the brake switch attached to the brake pedal is just a simple switch

you can disconnect it and put a jumper wire in the connector to see if it comes on or off, idk which does which

but that'll determine a faulty switch

The switch is a button, that when properly adjusted will brake the connection for the lights to be on when the pedal is NOT depressed. you will be able to see the button just above the rubber foot mount, it is not attached to the brae pedal, it is closer to the driver and you can adjust it with 2 10mm wrenches.

brake light can be stuck on also when your low on brake fluid. check that first. if your talking about the dash light? if not maybe your pedal needs adjusted?
