GROUND CONTROL KITS
Recently I purchased the eibach sportline springs.....its a little to low for my taste cant even drive into my driveway without it scraping in the front. It was suggested that I get a ground control kit instead of purchasing the pro kit by eibach. Wondering whats the big difference as far as comfortability between the 2. I love the look of it lowered, but not to comfy with that significant drop, especially living in NJ and driving back and forth to NYC. I NEED SOME POSITVIE FEED BACK...CAN I GET SOME SUGGESTIONS PLEASE? LOL. FOR REAL.
What struts did you use?
Eibach springs alone with stock shocks I never thought lowered that much.... Ground Control sleeve overs have their spring rates published (350f/250r) for a stock 94-97 Accord on Koni Yellow shocks. I believe those rates are the same for stock shocks as well.
As you go lowered you will sacrifice a cushy ride, just comes with the territory. I'm assuming you drove up and down your drive way an angle and not just straight at it right?

If you scraped with a 1.7" drop from Sportlines, I don't know how/why you think going with Ground-Controls is going to fix that.
Ground-Controls are generally used to get an adjustable ride height, and can slam the car to the ground and I believe topped out are a 1" drop or so. You really need to drive at an angle when you're lowered and going up/down dips. No other way around it.

The problem is it's not something you do on the fly. It requires you remove the wheel and jack the car up. They aren't air bags that go up and down whenever.
If you scrape with that subtle of a drop Ground Controls probably are not what you're needing.

Now with that, I'm not trying to discourage you from lowering your car. Trust me when I say I know the Accord is a boat at stock ride height.
If you absolutely need the ability to go up and down on the fly, really air suspension is the only option.

HERES THE LATEST NEWS....WRECKED THE 97 ACCORD. PURCHASED A 2000 ACCORD EX MANUAL TRANSMISSION. WAS THINKING ABOUT USING KYB SHOCKS AND PRO KIT FROM EIBACH...ANY SUGGESTIONS? SPORT LINE KIT WAS TOO LOW FOR ME WITH KONI STREET SHOCKS....WHATS A GOOD SET UP FOR A DAILY COMMUTE?
