Default Ground Control Vs. Spring question

I need to lower my car for the 4x4 ticket police's sake

I was curious as to feedback on Ground Control and stock ap2 shocks. I know some people get the koni yellows, but ive heard that the stock shocks are almost as good.

This is simply just for DD, but I do not want to jack up the handling if its worse than stock.

The other thing I was wondering is, should I go with springs/stock shocks instead? One of the main thing (besides the handling) is that I want to lower it to a point that its still "driveable" no daily streets. I mean not super slammed, but not barely tinkled down. Somewhere in the middle of not that much wheel gap and you can go up and down driveways w/ not too much problems. That is why I am even considering ground control. I was thinking maybe Ground Control would allow me to lower it to the point of in between.

Btw what is the desired lowering height so you can drive w/o having to go 90 degrees on every driveway

Thanks in advance people.

honestly with a OEM lip... even stock u cant go into most driveways without having to angle it...

i personally would go with a Koni yellow strut with your springs of choice rather then the springs on stock shocks.

as for lowering wise.. lower it to your hearts content... and dial in the suspension damper etc then with the alignment after for camber

thx for the feedback. I know i have to angle, but i dont want to go like literally sideways lol. May 45 degrees etc?

I also dont want to worry about driving down the road and hitting a small bump and scrapping like no tomorrow.

so GC + Koni or Spring + Koni? I like the idea w/ GC because it allows you to lower at the height you want instead of a set height.

i would go with the GC's that way u can make adjustments for rim/tire changes,
you can get the look and feel you want without taking out the refectors on the road... i was decently low but not to the point where i damaged anything and/or took away from handing

holy smokes 2.5" and you were still able to drive w/o a lot of problems? The thing is Ive seen some springs w/ 1" drop and some that consider it slammed (I thought) at 2.5".

hmm so roughly 2" might be good .

How bad did you have to angle going down driveways?

being so used to it i did it anyways.. but it wasnt bad with the OEM lip.. plus that depends on the drive way some are steeper then others...
the S2K profile is low so regardless your gonna have to angle her.
