Default Eibach Sportlines or Ground Control?

For my 98 Civic Coupe would I be better off getting Eibach Sportlines or Ground Control?

Depends. They're both made by Eibach. Sportlines are a softer ride and they're not adjustable. Ground Control's are height adjustable, but they need to be matched with a good set of shocks. The ground controls are much stiffer than the sportlines....I've got pro kit's on and they ride great.

I think I'm going back to eibach sportlines. adjustables are cool...but I love the feel of a progressive spring...

The Ground Controls would be good if you have good shocks like Koni Yellows. and yes, the Ground Controls use Eibach springs.

progressive springs get stiffer as they compress.

When you order your springs from ground control, tell them what you wanna do with your car and BE HONEST. They will recommend appropriate spring rates for your car, so you do not end up with a road racing set-up for your grandmothers car. If you want a softer ride ... tell them! If you want a go cart.. tell them

I would go with Sportlines
I had GC's and i took them off and put ITR springs in my 99coupe.. it isnt as low
but the ride is softer..
I found that the more i adjusted the GC's the worse the ride got. Sportlines are a nice drop.. and you dont have to worry about adjusting.. unless that is ur intention..
sO Sportlines should be good...
