Default Remove/Install Hub, Rent tools?

Hey guys. im having to replace a front wheel stud on my 99 honda civic ex so I need to pull the hub off.

I keep reading that I need a press to do this but I also read that there may be a set of tools to pull the bearing/hub assembly for rent at the auto parts stores that will do the same thing, which will allow me to pull the hub/bearing off as well as install it all. Is this true? If so, can you tell me what its called so I can look for it?

Thanks for the help!

You dont need to take the hub off to do this.

Pound the old one out, and then one the new one you just need to grind a little off of the inside of the stud and it will slide right in.

Also, don't forget to get a standard (open ended steel lugnut) to pull the stud tight. Just put it on the nut backward (flat side facing the hub) then draw it tight with an impact driver.
