Default Proportion valve

Ok well I just picked up a set of ex knucles for my 90 hf and was wondering about the proportion valve. I plan on sticking with the drums (rockin the aluminum drums) and going to get a ex m/c and b/b. The one thing I'm not sure about is which p/v to use? 40/40 or stock hf p/v? Can you help me H-T?!?

Nothing wow. What happened to all our braking guru's on here? I'm guessing I just reuse the hf p/v but if there's a better choice that's what I need to know. Just what to get the best results as possible from this set up.

OK after going through about 100 threads I've come to the conclusion that if your still going to use rear drums just keep your stock p/v (30/30). Only swap out to a 40/40 p/v if your swaping to rear disc. Just for further search reference.

Obviously you would use the drum proportioning valve if you are using a rear drum setup.

stick with the stock proportion valve since your not switching to rear disc.

Maybe you should think before for you speak. Have you seen a HF frt caliper? it's like a Huffy 10 speed frt caliper lol. I figured larger calipers would require a p/v with a better brake bias even if I was still going to retain the drums.

Thank you Tyson
