Si canceled for 2011?
I called my local honda dealer yesterday to go test drive a 4dr Si. He told me that they had 0 instock, and then started looking on the computer and told there were 0 on the west coast as far as for him being abel to get one, and then told after a few more min of looking that it looks like honda canceled the Si for 2011. Anybody have any other info or work for a dealership that can verify this?
there not gonna cancel the Si, he doesnt know what hes talkin about if they cancel the Si there is no reason why honda should exsist lol. But what honda needs to do is bring back the RSX Type S cause they made a really big mistake canceling those
They stopped production about 3 or 4 weeks ago on 8th civic si.

Wouldn't be surprised if they did. Don't they usually find a newer chassis model for the civic every 4-5 years anyways ?

The Civic hatch used to be the only reason to buy a Civic. Never understood why Honda canceled the hatch. Anyway, that picture is clearly not USDM, it says Type-R. The US has never seen a Type-R civic. I'm not a Civic guy and I know that one.
As far as the Si as a whole being canceled, I highly doubt it. The only Si models out of stock currently are the sedans. I know this because a buddy of mine went through the same problem recently. He had his dealership search for weeks coast to coast for an Si sedan with no luck. Plenty of coupes for the taking though. My guess would be maybe the Si sedans are being canceled, or beefed up.
In all fairness, the Si sedan is basically a TSX with a few less features. So the Si sedan either needs more power over the TSX, or it needs to go. There isn't really a market for a 'sporty', non-luxurious, under powered sedan.
Look at the GLI (GTI sedan) and how that was quickly canceled. The Si sedan and GLI are about as similar as you can. Food for thought.
