i have a problem with my transmission, sometimes when i just start my car my transmission locks me out of all my gears. If you push it with some foces in 1st or 2nd you can feel the car slowly move up. i try as well to start the car in gear with my foot on the clutch pedal and the car stats to move forward. this doesnt happen all the time only sometimes and the way i fix it for now is to turn off and on the car and play with the clutch pedal and shift it in to gear with the car off. i was thinking it can be my clutch. can someone help me.

 

this happen on my friends car turns out it was his clutch...

 

if your starting your car in gear and the clutch pedal is on the floor and your moving your problem is the clutch. you want to have about a 1/4 inch or so of free play in your clutch cable with the clutch disengaged. this is a da where talking about correct?

 

naw its not a DA its a DC, yeahh i was thinking it was the clutch, thanx goin to change it out.
