Default Quick fuel system ? before heading to dyno

Getting ready to go to the dyno on friday... quick question on my fuel system. I prefer to run E85. I currently have a walbro in tank feeding a bosch 044 threw -8 lines and 1600cc injectors. Will this setup support full boost on a pte 6765 on e85? Or should i go with c16? im thinking we should be between 700-800hp.

c16 would be better for you since you'll make more power on less volume with it.
you have too much injector for your pump so you're not going to run out of duty cycle, you're going to run out of pump - watch your fuel pressure!

Ideally, your pump should flow ~ 15% more than what your injectors are capable of flowing.
Your injectors flow ~ 40% more than your pump is capable of flowing (+/- depending on your base pressure).

Thats definately not the pump setup to be shooting for 800whp on E85...

would adding a second bosch 044 help?(i dont want to run 3 pumps though) or would you just keep the fuel system as it is and use c16?

Should of just went with 2 044's to start with if you were planning on running E85, if your really shooting for that kind of power just run Gas.

not rele a fan of the e85, i would go with either c16 or q16.. and if your looking to upgrade your fuel system a lil more i would sump the tank with -10 lines and go with an aeromotive a1000 pump... that setup i think will withstand your power goals and then some

Your post is full of fail.....

There is nothing wrong with E85, what makes you dislike it?

Do you have any clue where an A1000 runs out of fuel at?

Is it possible to run dual bosch's with out using a sump? I still have time to change the setup today and i have access to getting everything i need if i choose to add another bosch and dump the intank walbro.

Its possible but not recommended, you would have to run the feeds out of the top of the tank and thats alot of "head" for those Bosch's to be drawing the fuel out of the tank and down the line.

Tony1 recommended to me to use a 255hp to fill a surge tank and then feed the 044's that way, I am not sure how fast you can get something like that completed...

If you were local to me I could have a sump built and welded on your tank before the end of the day.

I am currently running an Aermotive A1000 with -10 lines, and that will not support what he wants. I made just about 700whp maxing out 1000cc injectors and I wouldn't trust taking that pump any farther!

I street drove a car to the track 45miles away and back every weekend with a sumped tank. and on occassion drove around town for fun.

Welding part is a bit of a problem i guess.

Surge tank would be okay, wayy more than i'd llike to do.

Sumped tank has my vote

You need to double up a couple 044s or a single weldon. A1000s are barely better than a 044 at 70 psi, 044's will kill a1000s beyond 70. All these pump flows are on our website. Figure you need to deliver approx. 600 lb/hr, and pick how you want to pump it.

well dual 044's it is. i guess sumping would be easiest and i think i now have a person that can do some welding. What are the dimensions you used to make your sump? 12x4 and have it taper to 1in at the deep end?
