scan tool connector location
is that a joke?
no such thing on either an obd0 or obd1 vehicle. only 96 and up accept scan tools. to check codes you count the blinking led on the ecu. the number of blinks represents a number which then corresponds to a code.

just suprised you didn't know is all. i wouldn't recommend doing an obd2 swap anyway though, too much extra evap emissions crap and tuning is limited and more expensive
Find the 2 wire connector plug on the passenger side (i think) and jump the connection with a paperclip. The CEL will go off and then start flashing.
Long flash = 10
Short flash = 1
So 2 long flashes and a short flash is a code 21. Hope this helps.
Edit: Truth about what D16sihatch said, **** obd2.

actually they can hook up to a scan tool, you gotta get a jumper harness from between the ecu and the harness, and the scantool goes in the middle, this isnt used very often cuz its much quicker to just check with the blinking red light deal
yeah. wouldnt that be for a obd2 though?
What I think he is trying to say if you get a jumper harness when you convert your car from obd0 to obd1 the jumper harness has a pig tail, and you might be able to hook a scan tool to that? maybe idk.
Just read the blinking lights its the easiest way, i think its easier then a scan tool sometimes.
