I've been battling one of the weirdest clutch engagement noises with my clutch masters stage 3 Kevlar clutch for some time now. Backround> 1996 civic ex coupe with USDM ITR Swap, clutch master stage 3 kevlar clutch and ITR flywheel. What i'm finding is a howling type of noise only under load when grabbing with the clutch in 1st gear on a hill. has anyone had any similar issues with their EK civic?? My buddy who works at honda heard a similar noise from another EK civic (had a stock motor though) that was in for service. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

 

is it only going uphill or just whenever your in first gear?

 

Mostly when you're on a hill in first gear and you have to ride the clutch with moderate to heavy throttle.

 

The noise is like a brief whirl/howling noise
